Academic Excellence: 37 Pioneers Named 2025 NAIA Scholar-Athletes
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced its 2025 NAIA Scholar-Athletes for fall sports, recognizing outstanding student-athletes in football, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, and women’s volleyball who have demonstrated excellence in the classroom.
To earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete distinction, student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have completed at least one full year at their institution. This year’s list features an impressive 6,485 student-athletes who met these rigorous academic standards.
