Addington, Jarvis Lead Pioneers at Live in Lou Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spartanburg Methodist College women's cross country team competed in the Live in Lou Classic at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park on Saturday.

The 5K course proved to be a tough challenge for the Pioneers, who were led by junior Polly Addington, the first SMC runner across the finish line with a time of 23:52.3, just eight seconds shy of her personal best. Freshman Gabby Jarvis followed, recording a personal-best time of 27:28.8, improving by 37 seconds from her previous mark.
