Kinlaw Sets School Record as Pioneers Compete at Tryon Winter Classic
The Spartanburg Methodist College track and field teams returned to action Saturday at the Tryon Winter Classic and Combined Events.
Sophomore Da'Sani Kinlaw clocked a time of 9.94 to set a new school record in the 60-meter hurdles. Kinlaw shattered the previous mark by 1.52 seconds and secured a spot at the AAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. Her performance currently ranks fourth-fastest in the conference.
Freshman De'Nasia Robinson recorded a time of 8.49 in the 60-meter dash, marking the ninth-fastest performance in program history.
The Pioneers closed the meet in the 4x400-meter relay, crossing the finish line in 4:37.00 for the second-fastest time in program history.
