What are you doing this summer?

The summer months are upon us and the competition for Spartanburg Methodist College athletics has ended for the 2024-25 year. The summer months are a time for our student-athletes, coaches and administrators to not only spend time with their families, catch up with old friends but also to continue to do some extraordinary things. 

This week, we continue the series with members of the Spartanburg Methodist College women's soccer team. Makai Bowen, Brittaney Cardenas, Kacie Grijalva, Addie Hawkins, Norma Reyes, Caroline Taylor, Grace White and Ava Wilson are playing together in the United Premier Soccer League on the Boiling Springs United FC. In their first game on Saturday, May 24, Hawkins scored the team's first goal in program history. 

Throughout the summer, we will have udpates on how the team is performing. They are currently 0-1 with their most recent game against Soda City FC having been postponed. For more information on the team, click here.
