SMC Student-Athletes Honored at Annual Awards Ceremony & Alumni Induction
Spartanburg, S.C. — Prior to commencement exercises on May 9, Spartanburg Methodist College recognized 13 student-athletes during its Annual Awards Ceremony & Alumni Induction, celebrating exceptional achievement in academics, leadership, and campus engagement on Friday, May 8.
The honorees represent a range of academic disciplines and athletic programs and were selected for their demonstrated commitment to excellence both in the classroom and in the Pioneer community.
- Adriana Stump-Frias (Softball) – Katherine Cann Social Science Award
- Kaylee Damsen (Women's Soccer) – Pete Aylor Psi Beta Award
- CJ Hawkins (Women's Soccer) – Phi Theta Kappa Excellence Award
- Grace White (Women's Soccer) – Pioneer Ambassador of the Year
- Layton Cave (Men's Soccer) – Pioneer Ambassador “Superior Senior”; Excellence in Marketing & Sales
- Miles Corcoran (Baseball)– Heart of the Pioneer
- Emilya Gallman (Women's Basketball)– Heart of the Pioneer
- Leilani Campbell (Volleyball)– Heart of the Pioneer
- Ben Ohl (Men's Soccer) – Travis Eiler General Excellence Award; Excellence in Management & Entrepreneurship
- Travis Dannecker (Baseball) – Excellence in Business Award (Bachelor’s Degree)
- Kyla Quiles (Softball) – Excellence in Accounting
- Alexia Johnson (Volleyball) – Excellence in Marketing & Sales
