Lady Pioneers Blow Out Denmark Tech

Denmark, SC - The Lady Pioneers traveled to Denmark Tech Wednesday night and won in blow-out fashion 89-43, improving to 5-0 in Region X and 14-9 overall.

SMC used a balance scoring attack led by Tequila McNeal's (Dreher HS) 13 points.

Shaniqua Whitley (Keenan HS) chipped in 12, Kierra Phillips (Gaffney HS) 11, and Jamara Williams (Hemingway HS) 11.

The Lady Pioneers return home Friday evening to host Region 17 frontrunner and rival Georgia Perimeter at 6 pm.

Spartanburg Methodist College has 14 intercollegiate teams that compete in Region X of the National Junior College Athletic Association, which includes colleges in the Carolinas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The College is in its 100th academic year of providing a quality education to students in a Christian environment. More than 90 percent of SMC graduates continue their education at other institutions of higher learning.
