Pioneers Ground Lady Hawks

Pendleton, SC - Ashia Mitchell (Dorman HS) had 13 points and 10 rebounds as the Lady Pioneers (13-9, 4-0 Region X) rolled to a 73-29 victory Tuesday evening over the Lady Hawks of Tri County Tech.

Kimberly Henderson (Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS) added 11 points as the Lady Pioneers won their fourth game in a row. 

The Lady Pioneers travel to Denmark Tech Thursday and return home Friday to host Region 17 rival Georgia Perimeter College.

Spartanburg Methodist College has 14 intercollegiate teams that compete in Region X of the National Junior College Athletic Association, which includes colleges in the Carolinas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The College is in its 100th academic year of providing a quality education to students in a Christian environment. More than 90 percent of SMC graduates continue their education at other institutions of higher learning.
