Harding Leads Pioneers to Win Over Catawba Valley

SPARTANBURG, SC-  The SMC Pioneers baseball  team continued its winning streak on Wednesday with a 15-6 win over Catawba Valley Community College.

Sophomore Rob Harding had two homeruns and five RBIs to lead the Pioneers to their 21ststraight victory.

Cody McElhaney also drove in three runs and went 4-for -5 at the plate.  The Pioneers scored six runs in the second and seven runs in the sixth.

Freshman pitcher Zach Godley (3-0) picked up the win.  

In the NJCAA Division I Baseball poll released March 31, the Pioneers moved up to No. 8.
