Four SMC Volleyball Student-Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Four members of the Spartanburg Methodist College volleyball team – Aurora Aho, Kendall Meinders, Brantlie Price and Hana Vucinic - were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
To be eligible for the Academic All-District® Volleyball teams, student-athletes nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution’s matches played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution’s matches. Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically or athletically, and they must possess a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Select Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced January 14, 2025.
