Kendall Meinders Named CAC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Spartanburg Methodist College junior volleyball student-athlete Kendall Meinders was recognized as the Continental Athletic Conference Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Meinders helped lead the SMC volleyball team to wins over Warren Wilson College and Life University, last week. In the win over Warren Wilson, she had four kills and a block solo in the straight-set win.
Meinders and the Pioneers avenged an early season loss to Life on Friday with a four-set win over the Eagles. In the win, she had a team-best 11 kills with a .333 hitting percentage to pace SMC. Meinders also had a service ace and three block assists.
Meinders is the fourth-different Pioneer volleyball student-athlete to receive weekly recognition from the Continental Athletic Conference.
Next, Meinders and the Pioneers, who are now 9-10 on the season will host Brenau University on Friday, September 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Bridges Arena.
