Women's Soccer Announces 2025 Schedule

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Spartanburg Methodist College women's soccer program has unveiled its full 2025 schedule as it enters an exciting new chapter.

The Debbie Pekel era will begin with two home exhibition matches against Pellissippi State on Aug. 9 and Pfeiffer on Aug. 19. The regular season kicks off on Aug. 22 when the Pioneers host SCAD Savannah, followed by a quick road trip to local non-conference rival Bob Jones on Aug. 25. The Pioneers will then host two more non-conference games—against Carolina on Aug. 27and Brewton-Parker on Aug. 30.

As the calendar turns to September, the Pioneers will begin their first season of Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) play with a road match at Milligan on Sept. 6, followed by a home contest against CIU on Sept. 10. The month will also feature three additional home matches, including a Youth Day contest against Pikeville on Sept. 27 at Nash Soccer Field.

October will feature a matchup against Union on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. and Senior Day against Columbia (S.C.) on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 4 p.m.

The AAC Tournament is scheduled for Oct. 28, Nov. 1, 4, and 8 at various host sites.
