Bio

Tiffany Jones is in her second year as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Spartanburg Methodist College.

In her first season (2024–25), the Pioneers secured a berth in the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) Tournament, where SMC reached the semifinals. The quarterfinal win over Carolina marked the first postseason victory in SMC’s NAIA era. Destiny Middleton was named to the All-Tournament Team and earned Second Team All-Conference honors. She was joined on the Second Team by JaiDah Liebert.

Prior to joining the SMC staff, Jones was a varsity assistant girls basketball coach at nearby Boiling Springs High School. As an assistant, she is involved in the development and implementation of training programs and game strategies. Jones also provides individual skill development and mentorship to the student-athletes.

She is also the owner of the TIP Academy and is the head coach for the SC Eagles 16U Team. With TIP Academy, it is a basketball training academy that provides individualized skill development for players of all ages and skill level. With the SC Eagles, Jones has developed and implemented high-intensity training programs to prepare players for competition. The program provides exposure opportunities for players through tournaments and showcase events.

Jones has also been the head basketball coach for 7th grade boys and 8th grade girls with the Carolina Crush to go along with 6th grade boys for the Upstate Swing. She also spent three years as the head JV basketball coach at Byrnes High School. and the head varsity coach at Greenville Tech Charter High School for a pair of seasons. 

She graduated from Limestone University in 2009 and nearby Greer High School in 2004.
