Bio
Donivan Dyson was named an assistant women's basketball coach at Spartanburg Methodist College in July 2025.
Dyson comes with a background in player development and competitive experience to the program. Over the past year, Dyson has served as a private and team youth skills trainer with Team SSB (formerly Georgia Jaguars), specializing in shooting, ball handling, and footwork.
A standout player at Keiser University, Dyson earned back-to-back All-Conference honors under Walling earning first team all-conference as a senior and second team as a junior. In her senior season she capped her collegiate career, finishing with the most points (480) and most field goals made (185) in a single season.
Following her collegiate success, Dyson played semi-professional basketball with the Atlanta Legends in the WABA and AEBL from 2019 to 2022 before transitioning to training and coaching full-time.
