Sophia Outhous Named CAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Spartanburg Methodist College sophomore Sophia Outhous was recognized as the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for a second time in 2024 on Monday.

Outhous recorded a personal best time of 19:42.8 at the Brevard XC Classic in Brevard, North Carolina to lead the Pioneers. The Irmo, South Carolina, native clocked the 10th-fastest time in program history.
