CJ Terrell Named AAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Spartanburg Methodist College freshman CJ Terrell was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week following his record-setting performance last week against CIU. In the Pioneers’ loss to CIU, Terrell posted a school-record eight blocks to go along with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
The Greenwood, S.C., native recorded his sixth double-double of the season—four of which have come over the past five games.
Terrell and the Pioneers return to action Wednesday, Feb. 4, when they travel to Reinhardt for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.
