Parker Winfield Named CAC Baseball Hitter of the Week
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Spartanburg Methodist College freshman Parker Winfield hit .455 in a three-game series at Cumberland University (Tennessee) en route to being named Continental Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week on Monday. He connected on three home runs and drove in eight runs in the series opener against Phoenix. The freshman also collected a hit in each of the remaining two games, including a double in the series finale.
