Pioneers get revenge on Stanly CC

Winning on your home field is key to a successful season and winning the big game is another key. The Pioneer men's soccer team did both today by defeating Stanly CC at home and getting a little revenge on a prior loss.

SMC quickly put away Stanly with two early first half goals and two in the second half quickly put to doubt any comeback for Stanly.

Tomas Acasta gave SMC all they needed today with the "hat trick". He has scored five goals in the last two games to led SMC. Miguel Teos added an assist while Sebastian Velasquez added a goal and two assists.
