Men's Golf Finishes 4th at Milligan Shootout

ELIZABETHTOWN, NC -- The SMC men's golf team picked up a fourth place finish Thursday in the Milligan College Spring Shootout.

The Pioneers finished with a two-day combined +55 score of 631.

Freshman Kyle Peters (Charleston, SC / James Island HS) led SMC in scoring, with a 7-over-par 151 for the event and in a tie for eighth place.

The Pioneers will next play in the Region X tournament, being hosted by SMC, on April 11 and 12 at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg.

Spartanburg Methodist College is in its 99th year of providing quality education to students in a Christian environment.  More than 90 percent of SMC graduates continue their education at other institutions of higher learning.
