Pioneers win regular season finale

The SMC wrestlers completed the 2011-12 regular season with a decisive 45-6 victory over the wrestlers from Truett-McConnel. (Truett- McConnel is a 4 year NAIA program out of Georgia) The SMC wrestlers lost only one match the entire evening.

The momentum created by this victory will help the Pioneer Wrestlers as they prepare to compete in the NJCAA Regional/District National Qualifing Tournament to be held on Sat. Feb. 11th, at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster Pa.

Wrestlers that compete successfully at this tournament will qualify to represent SMC at the NJCAA National Wrestling Championship Tournament to be held in Rochester, Minn. on Feb. 24-25, 2012
