Lady Pioneers Top Davidson County CC
LEXINGTON, NC - The Pioneer volleyball team on Tuesday night rallied from a game loss to defeat the Storm of Davidson County CC 16-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-19.
"Alley Greer (Brookland Cayce HS) and Courtney Nelson (Myrtle Beach HS) had really great matches Tuesday night," states SMC volleyball coach Susie Williams.
The Pioneers are now 7-16 for the year and will travel to Andrew College on Saturday, Oct. 9.
Spartanburg Methodist College has 14 intercollegiate teams that compete in Region X of the National Junior College Athletic Association, which includes colleges in the Carolinas, Virginia and West Virginia.
The College is in its 100th academic year of providing quality education to students in a Christian environment. More than 90 percent of SMC graduates continue their education at other institutions of higher learning.
