The 5,000-meter national qualifying time was his second of the season as he also set a national qualifying time for 3,000 meters earlier in the week.
Eliza Parker, sophomore from Oswego (N.Y.), High School, also ran a 5,000-meter qualifying time of 19:14.39 and it was also her second nationals qualifying time this season. She notched a 3,000-meter qualifying time Wednesday.
