Pioneer basketball receives national attention

The Spartanburg Methodist men's basketball team has received votes in the latest NJCAA Top 20 National Poll.  The Pioneers (12-3), are off to one of the hottest starts in the programs history.  "I am very happy for our players," said head coach Jeff Brookman. "I don't place much emphasis on preseason or middle of the season rankings. However, it is great recognition for all their hard work thus far and an honor for our program to simply receive any votes."

The Pioneers next travel to Morristown, TN on Saturday to take on Walters State at 7 PM before
