Behind the hot bat of Region X player of the Year Bruce Caldwell (9-10 -2 games) and a three run bomb from David Donald, the Pioneers rolled Pitt CC 8-2 in today's 2nd round tournament game. The Pioneers are now one win away from reaching the championship game to be held on Wednesday. SMC will face the winner of Florence Darlington Tech and USC Sumter tomorrow morning at 10:00am.
Alex Pridemore and Cody Mincey were solid on the hill today for the Pioneers.
