Bio

Kyle Owings enters his tenth year at Spartanburg Methodist College, after serving for one semester at Presbyterian College.  2015-16, Owings will oversee both programs as the Director of Golf for the college.

He was a four time MVP, four time All-Conference, and in 2003 a Ping Regional All-American while playing golf at Anderson University. He has won and passed his PAT (Playing Ability Test) with the PGA and is pursuing Class A Certification within the PGA. He is the owner of the Kyle Owings Golf Academy and helps with numerous clinics at Three Pines Country Club.

While at SMC, Kyle has led the Pioneers to four National Championship appearances, 5 District appearances, 6 Region Championships, and has had one player collect All-American honors, as well as numerous players go on to NCAA Divison I and II schools. Many of his students through his academy have gone on to be leaders in the collegiate ranks and four have turned professional after college. The Lady Pioneers have been leaders in Region X competition since the first year of the women's program in 2007, and the men's team consistently is nationally ranked. Both teams consistently rank in the top 25 nationally in the NJCAA Golfstat Collegiate Rankings.

Kyle is married to Ashley Owings and resides in Pauline, SC.
