The NJCAA Division One Men's Soccer Committee announced the 2016 NJCAA All American Team. Among the Players selected was Spartanburg Methodist's own David Koprowski. The Sophomore Captain is the starting central defender for the Pioneers. "DK" as he is known on the soccer field tallied 1 Goal and 3 assists on the year with 5 pts. His Career stats for SMC are: 2 Goals; 5 Assists; 9 points; 25 games played; 21 Games as a Starter.

Koprowski has also received 2016 Region X 1st Team All-Region Honors and 2015 Region X All-Region Honorable Mention.

Koprowski had this to say "First off I want to thank my mom and family for all the support they have given me. I also want to thank Coach Nolan for giving me the opportunity and finally my teammates for always having my back."

Coach Nolan "I am extremely proud of DK for this tremendous honor he has received and earned. He is an elite player and a well-rounded person. David is a testimony for the program we have here at SMC.    The hard work and dedication he has put in during his time as a Pioneer has most definitely paid off. When naming him my captain I knew he would lead by example on and off the field. He has come a long way and I know the best is still yet to come for him."
